Steel Shelters
are made with quality 12 gauge steel with all welded seams. These storm shelters are painted with two coats of industrial marine enamel paint inside and out. They have built in stairs, hand rails and benches. They are 6' tall inside. Our storm shelters include two 6" vents (One turbine and One stationary). The floor is welded to a 2" angle iron frame that protrudes one foot out on each side. During installation we place a 500 lb. concrete block on each side before back filling with dirt. These blocks with the dirt on top of them assure that the storm shelter will not float up from flooding or pulled out by a tornado. We dig a hole approximately 42" deep to set the shelter in. The dirt from this hole is used to back fill around three sides of the shelter.

Concrete Shelters
are precast and come in two pieces. The upper half fits over the bottom with a water tight lap. On the outer half of the lap there is a high bond waterproof seal that adheres the two pieces together. This seal is so strong that a crane can lift the top and the bottom will come up with it. These concrete shelters weigh from 10,000 to 12,000 lbs. depending on the size. They are guaranteed not to leak. The door is made of high strength steel with three hinges and three bolts. These tornado shelters come unpainted. All units have 6' of head room. All concrete shelters include two 4" stationary vents.

Safe Rooms
are designed to be installed in new construction basements/garages or existing garages. They are made of 1/4" steel plate. The units are bolted into the concrete slab with (10) 1/2" X 2 1/2" wedge concrete bolts. They include a built in bench and two stationary vent holes. Safe room doors open in because of debris that could fall around the door trapping the occupants inside. These units may also be used in the event of intruders into your home. Our safe rooms come painted with two coats of industrial marine enamel paint. They also have 6' of head room.
